So much, instead of like any number of colorful like expletives that she could use, I generally try to get creative when it comes to expressing my frustrations, although I feel like its like, it adds like color to the situation, like when youre just feeling ugh, although mine usually involve food, I feel like theres a lot of like fudge, and like biscuits, and like cheese and crackers in my vocabulary, so I just want to know what were thinking when youre writing that when youre like, This is going to be her go to school, shes angry. And like the secret dark parts of our heart. And they used to be theories. Understand that we all make choices. Because like there is nothing left. So Im going to ask you a few fun questions now, just sort of off the cuff, because Id love to know what everyones reading and watching. And so we were actually trying to sell another novel when I was kind of going back and thinking about. But before then even before then it was like 250 like the biggest viewed most viewed video Ive ever done and it was so like, I couldnt believe it. I was thinking about like, she has to have a past like she has to have come from somewhere. I enjoyed all the secrets and getting to know so many fun and interesting characters. And so traditional stories a lot of times have these heroes that are always rooting for good. Of Mistress Nimara and how she turned beastie and toppled the fat old king and rescued us Imps from the Fae courts! So a lot of like espionage, a lot of angst in that one. Paperback. With tensions rising between the Fae and the Dark Court, Alyce finds herself caught between her kingdom and the woman she loves. And a big part of that is the community just not attacking me for being myself just like supporting and being like that. In particular, Malice was not actually the first book that I wrote, or that we tried to sell. By the time the resolutions to the multiple threads of storyline tied together, they were so satisfying I may have cursed Walter a bit by the end for all the angst. They can turn almost any bit of rock, wood, or material into a feast. They all shunned and scorned Alyce once, but now, she is feared, respected, and that has given Alyce some satisfaction, but has also created a new problem for her. So, so excited. Thank you so much! Unexpectedly, a human washes up on Briars shores and the young man chooses to serve Nimara, but there are other forces out there and he inadvertently wakes Aurora, surprising the Dark Court and upending plans even as Alyce tries to win Aurora all over again while fighting the Fae. I very often found myself on Alyces side, though, so it was really a great deal of fun to get this Sleeping Beauty story from her eyes. I think its going to be really, really great. Not only is it the part we get to know best, but its populated by some really fun and interesting creatures and they have some fascinating events and ways of doing things. Its been a century since she first arrived in this palace, but she looks the same as when she discovered me in the old library. It was great to see how it all came together and the effect it would have on the larger world. But then we heard of the Imps being used as slaves in Etheria. At the time, I thought writing Malice was normal, but I think it was the fastest novel ever, right? And I thought thats for the youngins. Were both just a couple of villains like we know each other because we have the same agent and so like were always just like. Witches aren't scary they just have a little magic. It was a blessing when we discovered the Imps and their small magic.
